Commissioner Paul W. Lee is a native of Dothan and District 3 and is serving the fourth year of his first term.  He graduated from Dothan High School and attended Wallace College.

Commissioner Lee has been employed with Sony for 29 years.  His present position is Senior Production Specialist.  His responsibilities at Sony have taken him to Japan on many occasions to assist in developing new productions for production at the Dothan plant.

Commissioner Lee served seven years on the Houston County Healthcare Authority for the Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  He was Vice Chairman for four years.  Commissioner Lee currently serves as Chairman of the Metropolitan Planning Organization and represents the Dothan City Commission on the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority Board of Directors.  He also serves as the President of the Second Congressional District and serves on the Leadership Team of the school initiative, YES WE CAN.

Commissioner Lee has been married to the former Ellen Vise of Dothan for 27 years. They have one daughter, Beth, who is 14 years old and attends Providence Christian School.  Paul and his family are active members at Southside Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon.
