Board created by Ord. No. 7056 adopted Dec. 7, 1982, and provided that the City Building Official serve as Chairman of the Board.  Also, the President of the Home Builders serve as a member during his term of office as president.  The Ordinance also provided for a Home Builder to serve as a member who shall be recommended by the Home Builders Association and approved by the Board of City Commissioners and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners. Members were appointed by Resolution No. 7270, adopted on June 14, 1983. Meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month during evening hours.
