Summer Playground Program

Come over and play!  The Summer Playground Program provides structured, supervised events such as field trips, arts and crafts, gym games, and special events.  This program is for ages 6-16 at Andrew Belle and Walton Park, and for ages 6-12 at Wiregrass Rec Center. 

The playground program hours are from 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.  Registration is June 2, 2012 at 9:00 am. 

This program runs from June 4 – July 27, 2012 (closed on July 4th). 
Be sure to mark your calendars to register on June 2nd, because space is limited, and registration is on a first come, first serve basis!  The registration fee is $10 for the first child, $5 additional for the second child, and $20 per family with 3 or more children in the household.  All participants must provide a birth certificate at the time of registration.  For more information call (334) 615-3700.

Registration with parent's approval is mandatory.  There will be some fees for field trips and each child should bring a sack lunch daily.

THIS PROGRAM IS NOT DESIGNED FOR DAYCARE CENTERS OR GROUP HOME FACILITIES, BUT IS DESIGNED FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN.

Person registering the child will need the following information with them:

1.  Birth Certificate
2.  Parent's name, address, and phone number
3.  Parent's place of employment and phone number
4.  Emergency name and phone number
5.  Family doctor, medications, and allergies
6.  Name of designated pick-up persons
