Congratulations to Captain Bert Daum on his retirement.
Captain Daum was retired from the Dothan Fire Department on September 1, 2010 with 24 years 5 months of service to the citizens and visitors of our City.

Retired Assistant Chief Austin Fowler
Chief Fowler passed away after an extended illness on March 9, 2011. Visitation will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Hodgesville Road from 6 - 8 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Funeral services will also be held at Southern Heritage on Friday at 11:00 am with internment at Memphis Church.
Firefighter Mason Walding
Firefighter Walding passed away after injuries sustained in an ATV crash on September 1, 2010. Visitation will be held at Sardis Methodist Church on Geneva County Road 67 from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, September 3, 2010. Funeral services will also be held at Sardis Methodist on Saturday at 11:00 am.
Mr. Joey Roberts -- Retired Captain Ed Roberts' Son
Joey passed away after injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on October 21, 2009. Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial on Barrington Road from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009. Funeral services will immediately follow also at Sunset Memorial Park.
Retired Fire Marshal Charles "Mack" Kelley
Funeral services for Retired Fire Marshal Charles "Mack" Kelley will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church in Dothan, AL. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM day of the funeral at the church. Interment will be at Ward-Wilson on Hartford Highway.
