The Traffic Engineering Services Division is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all traffic signals, street signs, and roadway markings under the City of Dothan's jurisdiction. This division is also responsible for responding to all complaints concerning blind corners, sight distance problems, traffic signals and signs, and pavement markings. The division's primary objective is the safe and efficient movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through and around the City of Dothan.

PUBLIC WORKS MISSION STATEMENT:
To plan for and provide safe and adequate services and infrastructure for the City to include street right of way maintenance, traffic control, collection and disposal of solid waste, and engineering services.
